About the event

The overall course goal is to bring a solid foundation to civilians that are carrying a weapon and want to be able to defend themselves. It won't be a one-way approach to that goal. We will cover some basic principles in striking and grappling. We will look at the realities behind where certain methods will fall short. You will leave this course with a very good understanding of what you need to train and maintain to help you defend your life and others.

Day one

Day one will be done at our facility and will be mainly focusing on everything that is not live fire. We will cover situational awareness and tactics for everyday carry. We will also take to the mats and learn some very key defensive strikes and principles. Holster draw will also be integrated. There will be a lot of learning as well as the ability to get the repetition in.

 Day two

Day two will be at the live-fire range. Here we will test the skills we trained the day before as well as make sure we have the key fundamentals you need as an armed civilian. Students will get a metric for their draw and how long it will take them to deploy their weapon in a low-stress environment.
